Get flush deals and brands at the best toilet supply stores in Leeds!

Quality: Places that stock WRAS-compliant fixtures and reliable brands (e.g. Roca and Duravit) were preferred. We validated the details by checking online listings, visiting the stores, and conducting interviews.

Price: We compared the prices of competing stores, particularly on common items like seats, flush kits, and basins. Those with more competitive rates naturally received better marks.

In addition, the availability of bundles, discounts, and loyalty schemes was considered.

Range: Only stores with at least 20 different items (e.g. seats, cisterns, and accessibility aids) made this list. Online catalogues and in-person visits guided our decision.

Customer Service: We made calls, sent emails, interviewed customers, and stopped by the stores to gauge the staff’s responsiveness, speed, and professionalism.

Other aspects we considered were transparency and free advice, particularly regarding installation.

Convenience: All of our options are within a 30-minute drive of the Leeds CBD. Extra points were given to those with delivery options (especially express or free ones), extended store hours, and click-and-collect setups.

I know I’m not the only one, but I hate doing my business in grim, outdated toilets. This isn’t Saw or the 18th century anymore.

What’s my trick in keeping my loo comfy? I’m tidy by nature…and I don’t gamble on dodgy stores when it comes to bathroom kits.

If you already have the hygiene part down but not the latter, my suggestions below just might help.

How much does a toilet fitting cost in the UK?

In the UK, toilet fitting services usually range from £300 to £500 (VAT included), with hourly rates often between £40 and £60.

1. Sanctuary Bathrooms

sanctuary-bathrooms-logo

Address: Flexspace, Albion Park, Unit 5-7 Evans Business Centre, Albion Way

Contact Details: 0113 244 4400

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Fri – 9 am to 5 pm
  • Sat – 9 am to 4:30 pm

Website

A 40-year-old, family-run business like Sanctuary Bathrooms is far from a fluke. That’s one reason why I get most of my bathroom stuff here, particularly toilets, mirrors, taps, tiles, and enclosures.

Brand quality is another. I generally opt for Toto, but I’ve picked up heaps of accessories from Heritage as well.

Bulkier items won’t incur additional delivery fees either, though that perk usually doesn’t cover all brands and express options. Still, it’s a boon, which only gets sweeter once those clearance rates and discounts roll in.

They could be quicker with email responses, though. Sanctuary’s slow (or occasional lack of) email responses and callbacks don’t sit well with a few customers.

Plus, base costs here can dent your wallet a bit. The price cuts do help, but I’d say it’s still a ‘quality isn’t cheap’ setup.

On a positive note, they can help customers in designing personalised bathrooms.

Pros

  • Wide product selection
  • Operating for 40 years
  • Features quality brands like Toto
  • No delivery fees for bulky or selected items
  • Offers design advice and a 3D design tool
  • Offers clearance sales and seasonal discounts

Cons

  • Sluggish email/phone response
  • Can be pricey

Very Flexible

We first visited Sanctuary Bathrooms in August 2024; we had a design concept for our bathrooms, but no specific products. We met with Jamie Hitchen (Sales), who listened to our ideas, guided us through the various options and provided brochures. Jamie has a lot of experience in the industry and gave us a few do’s and don’ts based on our existing bathrooms and what we wanted. We made the choices and Jamie produced really good JPEGS of what the bathrooms would look like. After a few changes, we placed orders for the products (Crosswater, GSI and HIB). Sanctuary were very flexible about the period between our order and when we would need the products to be delivered. We’ve now had the bathroom works completed and we’re delighted with the results.

Superb Quality

The team at Sanctuary Bathrooms were exceptionally helpful, particularly Jamie. I knew what I wanted, but needed help with the attachments and other accessories. He helped to pick the supporting items. I called a few times, asking questions to ensure we could match the chrome with other items, and nothing was too much trouble.

The customer service was fantastic, keeping me informed as we had a custom painted bath and we had to push the delivery back to accommodate the plumbers coming in.

Love the bathroom, the products are superb quality and they look incredible in the bathroom. Highly recommend.

2. Morland Bathrooms

Address: 21 High Ct Ln

Contact Details: 0113 245 3108

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Fri – 9 am to 5 pm
  • Sat – 9 am to 3:30 pm

Website

Morland Bathrooms is an established brand. They first opened in 1946 and have since become a staple for premium bathroom needs.

Convenience-wise, they’re among our top choices. The staff provides design advice, and while in-house fitters aren’t available yet, they do link up with local installers already familiar with the store’s standards and brands.

In addition, they’re only 10 minutes away from the CBD station.

Most customers had no major complaints about Morland’s delivery speed and handling either. As per our interviewees, the products arrived on time, and the entire process was coordinated properly.

You can find clearance sales, too, but as stated before, this one is on the premium side. If you have the budget for these UK and international brands, though, you’ll be fine.

It would be grand, however, if they added a 3D designer tool. Not everyone likes to chat with a specialist.

Pros

  • Open since 1946
  • Provides design and installation services
  • Prompt delivery
  • Sells premium international and UK brands
  • 10 minutes from the station
  • Does clearance sales

Cons

  • Pricey base costs
  • No 3D design tool

Will Definitely Be Back

Absolutely amazing experience with Morland – thank you so much. From start to finish they were brilliant. Dan who worked with us on the design and product selection was amazing, as was Rich who we were put in touch with to complete the fitting (which he so kindly managed to squeeze us in for before Xmas and worked solidly to get it done). Thank you so much and we will definitely be back in future when it’s time to sort out next bathroom!

Brilliant

Superb quality! We used moorland for our ensuite in a recent loft conversion. Andrew Quayle was brilliant with advice and communication through the project. Highly recommend!

3. Spinks Interiors Leeds – Bathroom Showroom

Address: 82 Meanwood Rd

Contact Details: 0113 859 2211

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Fri – 8:30 am to 5 pm
  • Sat – 9 am to 3 pm

Website

If experience were this review’s only deciding factor, Spinks would’ve been the number one pick. This company has been around since 1926.

To be fair, they’re still reliable even without the age factor, owing largely to the showroom’s focus on A-tier brands such as Roca and Vogue UK.

The in-store staff adds to their positive reputation. Like most clients, I found the reps, like Martina, warm and informative, without the in-your-face style of selling.

Moreover, her design work and advice are all based on the shopper’s vision.

It would be nice if they posted rates online like most stores in Leeds, though. Sure, the prompt quotes and email help, but having prices upfront saves a lot of time.

A 3D planner isn’t available either, a hiccup for people who’d rather not drive to the showroom or wait for a specialist’s reply.

Pros

  • Open since 1924
  • Staff isn’t salesy
  • Quick responses/quotes
  • Offers bundle deals and discounts
  • Original and personalised designs

Cons

  • No 3D design tool
  • Prices must be requested first

Delighted with the Outcome

We were recommended to visit Spinks for ideas for our new bathroom. We were so impressed and pleased with the quality of the service and product. Martina was amazing. Her knowledge was excellent and she was very helpful and friendly. She gave us so much time and attention with fantastic advice. She allowed us to share our thoughts and helped us to create exactly what we needed. We made a number of visits and were very well looked after. She kept in touch with regular correspondence via email and phone. We are delighted with the outcome. Thank you very much!☺️

Never Made Us Feel Rushed

Outstanding from start to finish!

If you want a new bathroom then this is the ONLY place to go – look no further.

From the very first visit we were bowled over by the professionalism of the whole team and here I must give special mention to Martina in the showroom and to Will Storr of Northern Plumbing who fitted our new bathroom suite.

In store, Martina did not pester us, or do the hard-sell, but she was always on hand to answer every question we had and she never made us feel rushed into making a decision.

Her advice was very much appreciated, right from choosing the smallest robe holder to the biggest shower screen and bath.

Another thing – the products they sell at Spinks are top-quality and you know you are getting what you pay for.

Choosing a brand-new bathroom suite from scratch is potentially a minefield but Martina & the team actually made it a pleasurable experience. They filled us with confidence from start to finish and Gail & I are absolutely over the moon with the results .

I wish we had another bathroom to do because Spinks would be our only choice.

4. Clifton Trade Bathrooms

  • Wed to Thu – 8 am to 5 pm
  • Fri – 8 am to 4 pm
  • Sat – 9 am to 1 pm

Website

Most fitters I know shop at Clifton Trade Bathrooms. After all, this spot opened up in 2005 to meet the needs of installers, mainly by giving them access to quality toilet stock, product guidance, and in-house logistics.

Non-trade customers still get serviced, though. In fact, we browsed the Copley branch and received in-depth assistance regarding product selection and layout design.

Our lot also found it convenient that they share the business cards of traders. That means you get direct access to installers who are already used to working with the store’s featured products.

The free home measure service is a nice touch as well, especially for people (like me) who aren’t that informed when it comes to fitting dimensions or considerations.

Unfortunately, they’re not the most affordable choice.

Physical showroom visits are often needed, too. Remember: Clifton employs a depot-style model instead of an e-commerce one.

Upside? The quotes normally match the store’s actual prices.

Pros

  • Open since 2005
  • Trade-first model
  • Massive stock
  • Quotes are dependable
  • Connects you with fitters
  • Offers design services

Cons

  • Pricey
  • Can’t order online

Very Accommodating

We had a great experience with Dave at Clifton’s during our bathroom renovation—what started as one project quickly became two simultaneous renovations due to some quirky plumbing uncovered in our house! Dave was incredibly helpful in ensuring we got the right products and was very accommodating when we needed to make changes along the way. The quality of everything we purchased from Clifton’s has been excellent, and the service was even better. We’d definitely recommend them to anyone planning a bathroom renovation!

Top Quality

Quality branch with good quality appliances at a very good price. They price match on anything you find making life very easy not having to wait days for deliveries. All the lads are top quality. I recommend asking for Chris, his customer services are next to none.

5. Leeds Clearance Bathrooms

Contact Details: 0113 271 2185

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Fri – 8 am to 4 pm
  • Sat – 10 am to 4 pm

Website

The name is sort of a giveaway, but yeah, Leeds Clearance Bathrooms is one of the city’s most budget-friendly toilet stores.

They stock about 1,000 products, including unique scores such as custom whirlpool spas, underwater light systems, and saunas. You normally won’t find these with all the other picks here.

However, we’re not a fan of the lack of an online design tool.

Bundle deals are also a tad limited, especially compared to earlier picks, which roll out five or more.

The silver lining is that you can budget strategically and conveniently. Prices are posted on their website, which generally stay consistent with in-store rates, along with dimensions and features.

Visiting the brick-and-mortar store isn’t compulsory either since virtual tours are possible.

That said, we still suggest popping by the Leeds showroom for the free delivery bonus. The knowledgeable and cordial staff there is helpful, too.

Pros

  • Reasonable prices
  • 1,000-item showroom
  • Unique products like whirlpool spas
  • Offers virtual tours
  • Free delivery

Cons

  • No 3D designing tool
  • Sparse bundle deals

Really Helpful Team

Leeds Clearance Bathrooms were great to deal with. One of the items had an issue (manufacturer’s fault), but they sorted it quickly and professionally. Really helpful team – would definitely recommend!

Superb Quality & Brilliant Value

We recently had a bathroom refurb and were so glad we found this shop. We bought all the items we needed for our new bathroom. Shower and its enclosure, sink unit, toilet, shower seat and floor tiles (hand picked by Nadia, thank you). Everything is of a superb quality and brilliant value for money. Our bathroom looks fantastic 😁 Thank you
