I love how the designers here—a husband-and-wife duo—operate. Their process is interactive; we make the mood boards together first, then talk about room layouts and product sourcing.
Another thing I like is the fact that they have partnerships with several suppliers and tradespeople. So, they know who to contact when they need extra help, or if you want to buy certain products, you can get discounts from the suppliers!
I also appreciate how communicative the designers are. Every time I had a question, I could just text it because I knew I would get a response in no time.
The pricing isn’t too bad. They charge per day, and the rate is around £490. You can even negotiate if the project will take a long time.
The only downside is that this is a two-person team, so if you want them, you will have to book them way ahead of time. They even recommend booking them even when you’re still at the stage of buying your home.

Beckett and Beckett Interiors may be a small, family-run business, but their portfolio is already so impressive. I mean, they’ve designed both residential and commercial projects for clients in Leeds and beyond!
I also love that you can just check out their showroom to see if their designs are to your taste. This showroom is located a short drive away from Leeds, but at least you can stop by on a Thursday or Saturday without any prior appointment.
Clients are impressed with the process here. After the initial consultation, they’ll provide a physical mood board with possible fabrics, wall coverings, wood, and metal finishes. They can also create technical drawings to give you a clear picture of the design.
This firm can also make bespoke items for you. I’ve heard of clients getting Italian veneered doors and classic shaker styles, so the possibilities of getting a personalised touch are endless!
However, I have to say that their style is a bit limiting. They have a luxurious aesthetic, with a strong focus on neutral colours, dark accents, and a moody atmosphere. It’s a great style, but not everyone will vibe with it. So, keep that in mind.
