We also like that they’re a one-stop shop. Mac and iPhone repairs are in the books, so you don’t have to ring another store in case your Apple device needs to be patched up.
Of course, that specialised focus is not too useful for non-Apple users. It would also be convenient if they posted general prices online; not everyone is fond of calling or waiting for an email response.
On a positive note, their rates are what you’d expect: a tad costly but in line with Apple’s standards.
Mac Repair’s staff, particularly Oliver, have also been praised by our interviewees for the free advice and politeness. Explanations were also delivered in plain English.

Super Fast
My Mac mini 2012 wouldn’t turn on, no indicator light, totally dead. I assumed it had come to the end of its useful life but no… Oliver at Mac Repair had it sorted in no time at all after diagnosing it being the logic board as the cause. They didn’t rip me off either, and the clients I chatted with echoed the same sentiment. The prices are simply competitive for Leeds, with a ‘no fee’ guarantee for those who won’t get their files back.
Jon Jeli’s professionalism sweetened the deal. He was prompt in answering in-person questions and emails, was open to travelling to my place, and even handed out free advice concerning upgrades or potential issues.
Would love to see online scheduling, though. It’s way more convenient than calling or sending emails.
His services are also in demand. Don’t be shocked if same-day service can’t be provided.

The cool part is that they’ve been around since 2002 and have pros who can work with all major operating systems. Think Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Better yet, you can hire them for highly specialised services, which most competitors do not offer. We’re talking about solutions like forensic and cryptocurrency recovery.
Services are even tiered based on urgency. You have Standard, Priority, and Emergency (24/7), the latter game-changing for businesses or individuals with critical downtime.
Data Clinic isn’t exactly cheap, though. It’s important to discuss prices with their staff first to avoid surprises.
Moreover, they’re nearly 50 minutes from the Leeds CBD. That’s bad news if you prefer face-to-face consultations.

One of Fix iT’s biggest strengths is efficiency. As per the clients we talked to, the shop’s ‘while-you-wait’ recovery services only take hours, not days or weeks.
Device or manufacturer variety is usually not an issue either. Their team can and have fixed laptops, phones, and tablets across major and minor brands.
The process is also transparent, quite literally because you’re free to observe the specialist in action. Some interviewees even mentioned getting their technical questions answered mid-job.
If there’s a glaring hiccup, it’s the limited scope. While these folks provide recovery solutions, they’re not the most suitable pick for complex issues, like RAID data recovery.
Longevity might also be a deal-breaker for some. Fix iT, despite being open since 2017, is the ‘youngest’ entry on this list.
On the bright side, their prices are competitive, especially when compared to the other names here.
