The Best T-Shirt Printing in Leeds with Remarkable Turnarounds
I’ve been learning graphic design as part of my work, and I’m really into it. Making my own designs is incredibly fun, and it’s even more fun to have them printed out on my shirts!
This is where I got to know local T-shirt printers. With their help, I now have a couple of shirts that really showcase my personality!
But more than personal shirts, locals visit these printers to make bulk orders like custom company merch, fan-made swag, and family reunion shirts. If you want to make any of those, I’ve got some recommendations here!
Plus, if you’re looking for a classic T-shirt printing method, we also have a list of the best screen printing services in the city.

Picture the Print

Address: Mabgate Mills, Macaulay St
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday—10 am to 5 pm
- Friday—10 am to 4 pm
Contact Number: +441133180105
Picture the Print is my go-to custom printer, and the main reason for that is the variety of personalisation options. They can do direct-to-film (DTF) printing, which is more versatile than DTG printing, or you can opt to have your design embroidered.
As for the garment types, they can do all sorts as well. In addition to t-shirts, you can design hoodies, polos, and jackets. Some people even design their own safety or high-visibility outfits for work!
The print quality here is excellent. The colours pop, and they don’t wash off easily, either. Oh, and all of this for a good price!
This printer can also do bulk orders—perfect for corporate events and the like. Just fill out the form on their website, and they should respond with a custom quote.
However, the customer service could be better. One client shared that the print on his shirt wasn’t in the right placement, but the woman at the till simply ignored his complaints. Fortunately, the owner eventually reached out, offering to redo the design.

Total Print Studio

Address: Unit 10B, Byron Street Mills, Millwright St
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday—10 am to 5 pm
If you prefer your design to be screen-printed, then Total Print Studio is the shop for you. After all, screen printing is their speciality.
What I like most about this shop is that they use water-based inks instead of plastisol ink (most commonly used for screen printing). Because of this, the design shows more detail, and the ink itself is long-lasting. Plus, it’s more eco-friendly than plastisol!
What if you don’t like screen printing? Don’t worry, because they can do direct-to-fabric printing as well. They can even do some product finishing (folding, bagging, and custom neck tags), which is perfect for clients who are planning to sell the shirts.
The experience working with the team here is stellar. Clients keep praising them for being accommodating and quick. One even shared that he booked an order within a limited time frame, and the shop delivered.
The quality of the print is amazing as well—and all for a reasonable price! If you’re unsure, you can book a free quote.
The one downside to this shop is the fact that their screen printing service is limited to six colours. So, keep that in mind.

Kustom Stitch

Address: Dewsbury Rd, White Rose Shopping Centre
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday—10:30 am to 7:30 pm
- Saturday—9:30 am to 7 pm
- Sunday—11:30 am to 4:30 pm
Contact Number: +441132760727
Located inside the White Rose Shopping Centre, Kustom Stitch is a popular spot for people who need shirts for special events like hen nights, stag parties, holidays, and birthdays. They don’t have minimum orders here, which is good news!
As for printing services, they can do either screen printing, which is great for detailed designs, or embroidery, which is perfect if you want something more durable. They can take on all sorts of garments, too—from T-shirts to hoodies.
What makes this shop stand out is their incredibly fast service. One customer even said that she got her uniform within an hour of making the order!
If you don’t have your own design ready, you can make your own on the spot. They have everything ready for you—all the fonts and colours. So, get creative!
Unfortunately, I have heard some complaints about the staff, specifically about how rude they can be. One customer told me that they were deciding on a design for an order, and the man at the till rushed them, saying he had a lot of work to do.

Quick service
“Came here for some work uniform as online takes a while to deliver and it’s extortionate for the self-employed only wanting single items. This place was great, had all the fonts and colours you could think of I could pick my uniform up within an hour! Will definitely be returning!”

Shawcross Printers

Address: 29 Station Rd, Ossett
Distance from Leeds: About 30 minutes
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday—8 am to 4:30 pm
- Friday—8 am to 3 pm
Contact Number: +441924266706
While Shawcross Printers is based outside of Leeds, it’s only a 30-minute drive, and I think it’s worth checking out because their lineup of services is remarkable. They can print on all sorts of things—from T-shirts and polos to jackets, headwear, children’s clothes, bags, suitcases, and even vehicles!
Another thing to love about this shop is the fast and accommodating service. I’ve heard stories of clients booking a last-minute request, and the staff was able to deliver on time. Even when the client shared the wrong design, the staff still offered a solution at no extra cost!
The print quality is also high, and everything is at a really affordable price. This is great news, especially for people who are planning to buy things in bulk.
Speaking of buying things in bulk, you can send in a request for a free quote via their contact form on their website, phone, or email.

Deep Ape

Address: 1 Parkland Ave, Bruntcliffe Rd, Morley
Operating Hours: Monday to Saturday—9 am to 6 pm
Contact Number: +447305132403
What I like most about Deep Ape is that it’s more than just a print shop. It’s also an apparel shop featuring the works of local artists. And one thing about me is that I will always support establishments that support local artists.
The staff here is skilled at doing different types of printing. Screen printing is their speciality (they use water-based inks), but they can also do vinyl printing, DTF, and even sublimation (ideal for designs with vibrant colours).
Because of the wide array of printing styles, they’re pretty flexible with the colors. If you have a specific shade in mind (say, a Pantone shade), they can do it for you—for a fee, but it’s not too bad.
If you want to buy things in bulk (beyond 20 shirts), you can score a highly discounted rate. If you’re not, it’s £20 per piece, plus you’ll be paying several setup fees. This can be a bummer for customers who just want a cool new shirt for themselves.
The location can be tricky to find as well. It’s tucked away in a quiet street, surrounded by residential buildings. At least, there’s a bus stop nearby, so the commute shouldn’t be an issue.
