Another bit that can preserve your peace of mind is the no-obligation quotation system. Most clients also claimed that the estimates were reasonable and honoured in the final bill.
The firm’s callback game needs some work, though. We encountered a few clients who complained about not getting any after submitting their details.

Bradley of West Leeds Roofing made my past roofing woes bearable. For starters, he handed me a competitive quote, the same one I paid for.
His lads were also punctual and efficient. It took them around three days to install my new roof, and I received updates along the way, like what went wrong with the old roof and how to avoid similar issues in the future.
No need to skip if you’re not looking for the service mentioned above. Their range is among the most varied here: cleaning (including moss removal), repair, and maintenance are in the books—all made better by written guarantees.
I found their use of WhatsApp to be convenient, too. Replies are quicker there.
Much like the first entry, however, this one isn’t a 50-person company. I had to call in advance to avoid scheduling concerns.
A finance plan for costlier projects would also be nice.

Very Helpful
Had a chimney stack taken down by West Leeds Roofing, it was supposed to be a re-render but on starting the job, the chimney was discovered to be unsafe so changed the job to have it taken down. Bradley was very helpful, providing updates, options and solutions. Job done in one day, honoured the original price, very hard working team, very pleased with the job. Given our emphasis on experience, it’s no shocker that Leeds and District Roofing Services locked in a spot here. Four decades in the roofing business is no easy feat.
Oh, and their rates are pretty fair for Leeds. Those freebies really sweeten the deal, too, primarily the no-cost drone inspections, consults, and quotes.
In terms of turnaround, we’d say they’re reliable. Most interviewees pointed out that roof repairs and installations were completed within 5 business days.
Being on time is something their inspectors could improve, though. Some clients flagged them for being late to appointments.
They’re not the fastest at answering calls either.
Beyond that, we found no major gripes. All of their services come with written guarantees, the crew covers over 150 areas, clients can go the finance plan route, and there are niche solutions on offer, such as fitting roof lanterns and Velux windows.

DDK Roofing’s NVQ-qualified team, led by the Level 3 roofer Danny, is good news for any property owner. That only gets better once you factor in their 20-plus years in the trade and approved membership with the Confederation of Roofing Contractors.
Their communication approach gets some props, too. Based on what we gathered, it’s one of the most timely and transparent around, as they back prompt updates with photos that show a project’s current state.
Unfortunately, finance or staged payment plans weren’t available. Last-minute slots are also subject to availability.
On the upside, DDK Roofing’s insurance, written guarantees, decent rates, and accreditations attract many clients, evidenced by their extensive portfolio.
Jobs usually run on time as well, and everything starts with a thorough inspection detailing estimates, current problems, recommendations, and potential weak spots.

Professional and reliable flat roof replacement
Having seen positive reviews about DDK Roofing on Facebook, we ask them to quote to replace our felted flat roof with GRP. Danny came to look at the job, and immediately we felt at ease with him; he was very professional and clearly explained everything that needed to be done. His price was very competitive and his quote confirmed in detail the scope of the work.

Having 30 years in the industry backs up the quality of the offerings above. Plus, their prices match the going rates in Leeds.
When it comes to specialisation, fixing leaks, flat roofs, and tiles is what they do best. In fact, almost every client we talked to hired them for that.
If there’s a snag, it’s their customer service. Calls can take a while to get answered, and a handful of clients pointed out slight delays with inspector arrivals.
On the flip side, their clientele is impressive. Some notable brands Yorkshire Roofing has served include McDonald’s, New Balance, and Tesla.
