Elle Hive is the one I’d recommend if we’re purely talking about diversity of treatments. They do the usual, such as microblading, eyeliner and ombré brows, along with a couple of standout options.
Aquarelle Lips give you that soft tint, almost like a natural blush, while 3D Lips add shading and contour so your lips look fuller and more defined.
But what impressed me most was the scar camouflage and re-pigmentation service. It’s not just about looks; it’s about helping people feel more confident if they’ve got scars or lost pigment.
They also offer beauty marks, which are a small but stylish touch.
The issue is booking. You can’t just click and book online; you have to call or leave your details. Plus, they ask for a non-refundable deposit, which can be a pain if plans change.

My search for the clinic where I’d get my permanent makeup wasn’t easy, but I eventually went with Envy Brows. It’s a one-person studio run by Claire Wood, so I wasn’t dealing with a big team, just the artist herself.
That does mean appointments can be harder to grab, but I liked how much attention to detail I got.
She uses a proper professional kit, too. We’re talking about the Nouveau Contour IQ digital machine and pigments from Monica Ivani, Tina Davies, and KB Pro.
I chose lip blush to give my lips the illusion of fullness, along with smoky pixelated eyeliner for a softer finish. So far, I’m happy with how it looks, and I hope it lasts before needing a retouch (which is free here).
Aside from availability, the only drawback is the slightly higher prices.

Francesca Day Microblading Clinic is a decent option if you want permanent makeup without paying for everything up front.
Francesca has been in the industry for years, and her work has earned recognition, including Permanent Makeup Artist of the Year at the English Hair and Beauty Awards in 2024.
The treatment that stood out most to me was nano microblading. It gives brows a softer and more natural look, with fine strokes instead of that blocky style you sometimes see.
The clinic also offers other permanent makeup choices like ombré brows and traditional microblading.
On the practical side, the free consultation is helpful, and payment plans make things easier to manage.
The downsides are that the clinic focuses only on brows, and the operating hours are inconsistent, so booking an appointment can be tricky.

If you want more than the usual for your lips and brows, SPMU by Sarah is worth a look. The studio is based in Farsley and has free parking, so it’s easy enough to get to, whether you’re driving or coming by public transport.
One of the standout treatments is lip neutralisation, which helps even out tones and gives a softer base. For brows, you can choose between neat hairstrokes for a sharper finish or fluffy ones for a softer look.
They also offer faux freckles, which are done in a way that feels natural and fits the current trend.
I like that you get two appointments for the price of one, since the second visit lets Sarah refine things after your skin has healed.
Unfortunately, this studio operates by appointment only. Also, there’s no phone number, so everything has to be handled online.

Redeem Microblading & Scalp Micropigmentation is one of the bigger names I’ve added to this list. They’ve been running since 2011 and have clinics in places like Sheffield, Halifax, and Leeds.
I checked them out because they’re one of the few places in the city offering both scalp micropigmentation and tricopigmentation. It’s useful, since it gives people the choice between permanent and semi-permanent options.
They also cover the usual permanent makeup treatments, such as microblading for brows, eyeliner, and lip blush. Furthermore, they provide age spot removal to help you achieve that clearer skin.
I like that they offer free consultations and often have promotions, so you can weigh things without pressure and maybe save a bit of money.
However, they don’t list official business hours, and the clinic is based on the western edge of Leeds, which can be inconvenient.
