Get boozy and fed at the best bottomless brunch spots in Leeds!

Whoever came up with the concept of a bottomless brunch deserves a medal. You made life so much better by introducing set menus, endless booze, and the right to call 11 am drinking justifiable.

Seriously, even a random catch-up on a Tuesday can turn chaotic (in the best way) once the pancakes and burgers get matched with free-flowing prosecco.

Such is the case in Leeds, especially with the joints down there. They do this all-you-can-eat craze the right way.

Dirty Martini does their 90-minute bottomless brunch with a side of class. The Art Deco theme wraps the rooms in sophistication, though the vibe can also go electric on Fridays, when the DJs spin some bops.

Safe to say, they know their way around martinis. The Absolut-based Pornstar Martini brings fruity nuances while the espresso version is more decadent, thanks to its butterscotch and coffee infusions.

For the scran, it’s mostly shareable, bite-sized dishes, such as cheese sliders and tempura prawns. Vegan bruschetta and croquettes are on the cards as well.

Tip: Hop on a train. This spot is 5 minutes from the station.

Website

The Big Apple’s spirit is palpable at the NY-inspired Manahatta. Naturally, other spirits, the boozy kind, also overflow for those who score their all-you-can-eat brunch.

Your selection? Lots of spritz, French vodka, and a few cocktails. Prosecco outsells them, though. Two hours of the floral drink seems to be a huge hit.

All that fizz goes down smoother with their smashed avo, spiced by rose harissa and finished with the zest of mildly earthy sumac. Those pastrami and pickle bagels rarely miss either.

Tip: Happy hour deals are available all day from Sunday to Friday.

  • Fri to Sat – 12 pm to 10 pm

Price: £30 to £32 per person

Website

We rolled out of Pieminister half-cut and stuffed to bits. With an afternoon spent digging into their OG ‘Mothership,’ an award-winning pie sitting on a base of mash, that outcome was inevitable.

As for our drink, we opted for the crisp and fruity Camden Pale Ale, rounding out the meal’s savoury character. If that’s not your cup of tea, the alternatives are prosecco and classic cocktails.

Tip: VIPs can score exclusive promos.

Fleur is a feast for your eyeballs and your gob. Seriously, we ate under a ceiling of flowers with hanging paper butterflies on the side!

Even better, the drinks weren’t sidelined by the aesthetics. They whipped out citrus-kissed mimosas and bittersweet Aperol spritz, all flavourful without going overboard.

Latin America is bottled and poured at the mural-draped and music-filled Las Iguanas. On any given day or hour, the classics keep coming, like daiquiris bright with lime and smooth with Absolut vodka.

The Mexican fare is also fuego in flavour. Burrito is a no-brainer pick, especially the intense and smoky version with brisket wrapped alongside refried black beans.

Tip: Students (with valid IDs) get discounted prices every Wednesday! That also applies to the bottomless brunch deal.

Laid out across two floors, Banyan houses diners in the old Post Office’s grounds, trimmed with wooden furniture, statement lighting, and copper finishes. In short, the vibe here is rustic and grand.

The same applies to the brunch offerings. You can go old-school by matching prosecco or martinis with no-frills poached eggs and smashed avo, available until 3 pm.

Post-3 pm, you get to indulge. The top picks are delicate sea bass luxuriating in red Thai curry and a robust flat-iron steak, cooked until pink and finished with salsa verde.

As if the Victorian theme wasn’t posh enough, Lost & Found doubles down by sprinkling grandeur all over their all-you-can-eat menu.

The opulent joint serves bubblies, with a drinks catalogue that pops with fruity prosecco (their top-seller) and spicy Bloody Mary.

On the plate, it’s your usual brunch bits, just with bougie or creative touches. For example, the Belgian waffle comes with oak-smoked salmon, and you can jazz the smashed avo with truffle and cheese hash browns.

Tip: If you need more booze, 2-4-1 cocktails are poured every Monday to Friday (4 pm to 8 pm).

Sky-high and swanky—that’s the all-you-can-sip experience Sky Lounge is known for.

Thirteen floors up, you’ll knock back glasses of Albourne Estate Sparkling Wine with Leeds stretching in the background. There’s also a fair chance you’d do that while snacking on European cheeses or homemade pastries dipped in a fountain of chocolate.

Man’s Market

Website

We went down to the semi-subterranean Man’s Market for brunch. The Hong Kong Ladies Market-inspired hangout, with its Bruce Lee posters and American pop playlist, was too charming to be skipped.

Of course, we didn’t just go down for the vibes. We emptied plates of prawn crackers and sweet chilli chicken for two hours, washing them with inventive tipple.

We loved the sweet-sour Last Emperor. Its emphasis on blackcurrant and strawberry notes was perfect against the dishes’ oriental profile.

Tip: Book weeks ahead. This one is a crowd magnet.

Olive Tree Brasserie

From olivetreebrasserie

Address: 8 S Parade

Contact Details: 0113 513 3452

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Thu – 11 am to 10 pm
  • Fri to Sat – 11 am to 10:30 pm
  • Sun – 11 am to 10 pm

Price: £38.95 to £42.95 per person

Website

Our brunch at Olive Tree was less English, more Mediterranean—not that we’re moaning. Hard to grumble when you’re lapping up prosecco or raspberry-flavoured vodka for two hours straight.

The nosh wasn’t shabby either. Their Greek cured beef sausage glazed with sticky honey was a winner, with the garlic-leaning beef meatballs as a close second.

Those on a plant-based diet were just as happy when the staff rolled out some dolmades. Herbed and lemony rice bundled in vine leaves that were lightly dressed in olive oil? That’s something they’ll never say no to.

Tip: Orders made before 12:30 pm cost less.

IF UP NORTH

From ifupnorth

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Wed – 8 am to 3 pm
  • Thu to Fri – 8 am to 5 pm
  • Sat – 9 am to 8 pm
  • Sun – 9 am to 3 pm

Price: £19 to £27 per person

Website

Sure, it’s IF UP NORTH’s cherry and hazelnut-ish espresso that made them a household name—but we weren’t about to skip that brunch. I mean, the deal is light on the wallet but heavy on flavours.

Plenty of delicious drinks on the menu, too, mainly cocktails and spritz. That said, we chose their espresso martini (‘brewed’ using house-roasted beans), the tangy passionfruit martini with a zesty-sweet vodka finish, and the no-fuss pina colada.

All of us backed the drinks with IF’s iconic burritos. The meat-eaters had the one with bacon and eggs, while the vegans opted for the earthier pick loaded with baked beans and avo.

Tip: Mid-week visits are calmer.

Electric Shuffle Leeds

From dazquinn

Address: 123 The Headrow

  • Mon to Wed – 11:30 am to 12 am
  • Thu – 11:30 am to 1 am
  • Fri – 11:30 am to 2 am
  • Sat – 11 am to 2 am
  • Sun – 11:30 am to 2 am

Price: £38 per person

Website

Not all brunch spots are popping; good thing Leeds has Electric Shuffle to liven it up. This joint’s shuffleboard tables and head-bopping DJ music will keep the food coma at bay.

And honestly, that’s brill news since ‘bottomless’ here means endless pizza for two hours!

The drinks, meanwhile, aren’t unlimited, but it’s not a stingy deal. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of Sartzi spritz, loved for its bitterness and distinct botanicals—and from there, it’s either a bottle of prosecco or four beers.

Tip: Students get some free shuffleboard action every Sunday and Monday.
