The Best Photo Printing Labs in Leeds You Can Trust with Your Frame-Worthy Pics
As a family man and marketer, I know all too well that printing holiday snaps or business flyers myself will likely end in a disaster. If you ask my wife or boss about the backstory, they’ll probably point you to some washed-out and pixelated prints.
Luckily, I was able to bounce back by turning to some of the best photo printing labs in town. And, mate, their high-end kit and trained staff were all the difference between ‘Wow!’ and ‘What in tarnation is that?’

How much do photo printing labs charge in Leeds?
In Leeds, most photo printing labs charge at a starting price of 9p for a 6”x 4” print, while A2 prints are usually the highest at £23 a piece.
Bulk orders can cut the costs. For example, 26-50 A2 prints will set you back £22 each in most labs.
1. The Photo Shop

I’ve been a customer of The Photo Shop for a while now, so I’m quite familiar with what they bring to the table. The first one is experience; they opened doors in 1999, and the staff, like Ian, has been in the industry since 1978.
Something else I really like is the shop’s efficiency when it comes to passport photos. You see, the owner, Mark, is well-versed in the specific requirements of 87 countries.
What’s more, the entire process usually doesn’t take more than an hour. I often get mine within 15 minutes, and a client even mentioned it only took them about 25 minutes to capture and print around 250 photos.
They’re also a win if you have ‘energetic’ kids, like my daughter. Ian made sure she was at ease.
Now, the downside is they’re closed on Sundays. The shop’s popularity also means it can be crowded.
Absolute Legends
I’m a professional photographer and there is no where else in Leeds I’d prefer to go for developing my film. I’ve been going to this store for 4 years and they’ve never ever let me down. 2. Take It Easy Film Lab

Take It Easy Film Lab is our go-to shop for processing negatives. Errors rarely occur, and they’re typically returned within the day.
We also value their responsive and well-informed support team. They picked up the phone promptly and answered our queries clearly, mainly the pricing and shipping-related ones.
However, the shop has the shortest opening hours on this list, running only from Tuesday to Friday.
We have no gripes with the fees, though, as they’re fair for Leeds. We even scored a free shipping discount last time since our order went above the £75 mark.
Their range is also sweet. You can get prints anywhere between 6×14” and 8×12’, with gloss and lustre as the finishes.
The process is convenient as well: simply upload the images online, adjust the specs, and their team will do the rest.
That said, a few clients complained about seeing scratches on their prints.

Businesses that need B2B prints should consider giving BajanApple a call. From what we’ve gathered, their turnaround time for bulk orders is usually within 2–3 hours.
The catch is that the size range for photos isn’t that extensive. We popped by last May 2025, and the staff told us they still only print A3, A4, A5, and A6 pics.
Also, there are no walk-in services.
On the upside, their prices align with what you’d expect in Leeds. Customers even get 10% off their first order.
They’ve also been reliable in terms of communication, both over the phone and in-store. Anthony, in particular, had been excellent in assisting us with both edits and budget planning.
If you’re not in the mood to call or visit, though, there’s a handy online tool for customisation. What you need and when you need it can be encoded there, with quotes available within 30 minutes.

Versatility is one of Max Spielmann’s biggest perks. Nearly any size and finish is available, plus they have services most competitors don’t provide, like processing metal prints.
In addition, they can turn your photos into personalised gifts, such as cushions, notebooks, and mugs. Most shops here stick to standard paper-based prints.
That level of flexibility extends to their collecting/delivery options. For instance, you can print and collect in about 20 minutes, or opt for home delivery, taking around 1–2 days.
We also love their convenient app, since it lets us edit, preview the print, and collect it in just an hour without paying a penny. First-time users even get 10% off, so there’s that.
The catch is that some customers voiced concerns about the Merrion branch’s unfriendly staff.
In-store prices also lean on the heavier side, especially if you throw in their photography services into the mix.

If you value eco-conscious materials, like recycled and alternative fibre paper, PRINT.WORK, ticks the right boxes.
Artists should also give the shop a try; their client base consists mostly of illustrators and designers. In fact, during our interviews, many of them raved about the lab’s HD printing, colour depth, and broad paper choices.
Better yet, PRINT.WORK accepts custom jobs that don’t fit their standard categories, so yeah, you can go full avant-garde here, for an extra fee, of course.
Turnaround time isn’t too shabby either, as deliveries generally take 3–4 days, as per our chats with past and current clients.
The best part? Their standard rates are affordable for Leeds, even for solo artists or individual business owners.
It would be more convenient, though, if they also opened doors during the weekend.
Furthermore, you can’t save cash by supplying your own eco-friendly paper, as they only work with their stock.
