You don’t have to watch the door all day with the best courier services in Leeds!
When I started my own business, I realised that one lost parcel could tank those 5-star ratings faster than you can type apology emails.
Fortunately, Leeds isn’t short on stellar courier services. Plenty of them can get your packages from point A to B, on time and in one piece.
We don’t want you to settle with ‘good enough,’ though. That’s why we reviewed the cream of the crop, trusted by business owners and their clients.
How much do courier services cost in Leeds?
Generally, courier services in Leeds will cost you about £2.79 (below 5 kg) to £8.80 (20+ kg) for next-day deliveries. Expect the prices to balloon if you’re sending heavier items.
Other factors that affect courier fees include distance, delivery speed, and the company’s pricing structure. Some start at £3, others at £2.50.
1. Red Rocket Couriers

Address: South Lodge, Thorn Ln, Roundhay
Contact Details: 0113 873 0214
Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours
After knowing that Red Rocket Couriers have over 3,000 drivers across the UK, we had to give them a shot. No regrets on this end; all 5 of our same-day deliveries arrived right on schedule, about 60 minutes from the booking point.
Price-wise, they’re not the cheapest, though. We shelled out fees slightly more than the standard rates.
On the upside, first-class customer support is included. Somebody sorted us out every time we called, and the same-day payments were processed within minutes. Bonus points for providing free quotes.
Red Rocket’s service lineup covers plenty of ground too. Beyond same-day deliveries, they provide overnight, medical, cremated remains, and emergency deliveries.
That flexibility extends to their industry coverage, with over 10 sectors serviced, such as legal, IT, and construction. They even work with big names—think BBC and Sky.
However, they don’t offer meal/grocery deliveries. Most companies offer this option.
Delivered My Goods Without Any Problems
‘Being new to the Leeds area I needed a new Courier and I’m so glad I found Red Rocket Couriers.
Their 24/7 team was professional and polite and arranged a courier in a matter of minutes. The courier who arrived was smartly dressed and delivered my goods without any problems or delays.
From now on I will always use Red Rocket Couriers here in Leeds and would recommend them to all my friends.’

Friendly and Organised
‘My partner left his laptop on the train and it ended up at a far away station (luckily) so we had to have it couriered back to us. I found red rocket online and they have been absolutely amazing. From speaking to Lee this morning to fix times and instructions, to the reasonable pricing and efficient delivery I can’t recommend red rocket enough. Lee and his team are so friendly and organised, thank you so much all of you!’

2. Mail Boxes Etc. Leeds

Address: 33 Great George St
Contact Details: 0113 487 9751
Operating Hours: Mon to Fri – 9 am to 5 pm
Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE) nails the experience factor, having opened in 1980. What really sold us, though, was their full-service approach.
Under one roof, they provide global express deliveries, auction logistics (for collectables like antiques), mailbox services, and student package shipping.
Unlike some entries, however, they don’t operate on weekends. That’s a massive hiccup if you need urgent deliveries during said period.
The good part is clients get to choose the carrier that fits their budget or reliability needs, with trusted options like UPS and FedEx.
In addition, MBE has a CoverProtect programme, which provides higher compensation for irreplaceable or valuable items.
Just prepare for steep rates. A mate once paid £80+ for an America-bound parcel.
Despite that, we still rate them high. Having an informative, quick, and personable customer service helps their case.
Their specialised packaging services for electronics, glassware, and antiques deserve a shout too.
Fair Price
‘I can’t praise the team highly enough. Their customer service and design skills were exceptional. The team effectively recreated my design requirements and speedily printed, all at a fair price.’

3. PACK & SEND Leeds North

Address: 11 Kirkstall Rd
Contact Details: 0113 243 6393
Operating Hours: Mon to Fri – 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Since 2012, PACK & SEND has been providing numerous packing and shipping solutions for both business owners and individuals. That brings us to their strongest point—versatility.
Fragile, door-to-door, domestic, bulk, small-item, international, and food deliveries don’t even make up half of their offerings. Pair that with their Warranty Cover Protection, and it becomes clear why they have a glowing reputation.
Still, the weekend closure is a drawback. Their email replies are sluggish as well, and at times, messages go unanswered.
If those hitches aren’t a deal-breaker for you, you’ll love their Online Self-Service System, which enables clients to process deliveries on their own. Unpacked items, though, must still be handled in one of their service centres.
As for prices, they’re within Leeds’ standard rates. You also don’t have to wait for a quote, as costs can be checked on the website, VAT excluded.
Service is Friendly and Amazing
‘The lady in the shop was extremely kind and helpful. She assisted me with my package when I was having difficulties and even allowed me to use her printer. I am very grateful for her support and can highly recommend this shop. The service is friendly and welcoming.’

4. MIRO Logistics Group Courier Services

Address: 31 Cross Flatts Pl, Beeston
Contact Details: 0113 328 0379
Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours
MIRO’s selling point is customisation. In other words, most of their services aren’t fixed; clients are free to personalise the speed and packaging options.
That doesn’t mean they lack fixed services. Same-day, next-day, and overnight courier solutions are still part of their range, with the bonus of being fully insured.
What’s more, they have something most here don’t provide, and that’s pet transport. This is a safe and stress-free service ideal for pet relocations.
Prices also match the city’s usual range, made better by their transparent quotes. Students can even score regular discounts!
However, their haulage services only focus on light to medium loads. Heavy or oversized freights aren’t part of the deal, specifically those over 1,500 kg.
Urgent requests can also be tricky, as availability isn’t always guaranteed. The good news is you can usually offset this by booking in advance.
Fast and Reliable Service
‘Excellent service! Christian was incredibly efficient, quick and carefully moving everything from room to room. Very friendly and professional! He definitely made the whole process so much easier for us. Highly recommend him for anyone looking for fast and reliable service.’
– Giselle Lim, Google Review
Definitely Worth the Money
‘Would definitely recommend everyone who’s looking for a house moving to use their services!!
100 out of 10. Christian is so helpful and nice, the best moving experience I’ve ever had.
We moved from Manchester to London and we have so so many things. The van is really big and Christian was helping us so much, I can’t imagine how hard to process would be without him.
The service definitely worth the money and we will definitely come back if we need house moving again in the future.’

5. Stride Couriers

Address: Suite 5, Regent House, 15 Hawthorn Rd, Chapel Allerton
Contact Details: 0330 223 5073
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Fri – 7 am to 8 pm
- Sat to Sun – 8 am to 8 pm
Stride’s solid track record with urgent deliveries landed them a spot here. Courtesy of their nationwide network, items can be collected as early as one hour post-booking.
Naturally, distance factors in, but the delay isn’t unreasonable. For example, we’ve hired them several times to deliver packages to London, and the goods made it in about 3–4 hours.
Many sectors also rely on them, particularly engineering, healthcare, media, legal, retail, and construction. That also means they have specialised logistics, like medical courier and prop transport services.
Bulky items won’t be much of an issue as well. Stride’s fleet has vans for quick drop-offs and lorries for heavy haulage.
A minor drawback is that they’re this list’s newest courier, launching in 2019. More experienced options are available.
Furthermore, they don’t have grocery or food-related courier services.
That being said, MIRO’s prices are market-friendly, with discounts to boot.
Very Helpful and Friendly
‘Fantastic service from this company yesterday with an urgent request. Booked at midday for a collection from SW London and was delivered to me by 3pm in Berkshire. Very officiant and customer service team very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend’
– Fionna Fabb, Google Review
10/10 Service
Excellent service from start to finish. I had to find a courier at short notice late afternoon to make an next delivery with same day pick-up. The team at Stride picked up my booking immediately and took care of the rest whilst keeping me informed all of the way.
10/10 service, I would highly recommend to others and will be using them again in future.
