The Best Beer Pong Pubs in Leeds Where You’re a Winner Even If You Lose!

Knocking back cold pints is class on its own, but playing beer pong while being half-cut? Now that’s a proper night-out.

For one, it’s dead simple, unlike more technical bar games. A few cups, ping-pong balls, booze, and a healthy dose of smack talk will do the trick.

If that sounds like your kind of party, try lobbing shots at the game bars below!

Boom Battle Bar

From boombattlebar

Address: S43 Ground Floor Level and First Floor Level Victoria Gate

Contact Details: 0113 245 8000

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Tue – 12 pm to 11 pm
  • Wed to Fri – 12 pm to 1 am
  • Sat – 11 am to 1 am
  • Sun – 12 pm to 11 pm

Website

Like most of their games, Boom Battle Bar’s version of beer pong gets a futuristic glow-up. How? Well, you’ll ping balls on interactive digital tables instead of those dull old ones.

The prices aren’t from 2030, too; a table good for 1–6 people will only set you back £30. Games also last up to 45 minutes, and every session gets you a full pitcher of beer.

Here’s another twist: prosecco pong. Yup, that means if you don’t like beer, you can always swap it up for prosecco.

Tip: Consider throwing your corporate event here.

BrewDog

From brewdognorthstreetleeds

Address: Crispin House, New York Rd

Contact Details: +44 113 391 2950

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Tue – 4 pm to 11 pm
  • Wed to Thu – 12 pm to 11 pm
  • Fri to Sat – 12 pm to 12 am
  • Sun – 12 pm to 10 pm

Website

Getting parched or belly rumblings while playing at BrewDog is nigh impossible. Twenty-eight taps of craft beer are ready to pour sips, and there’s always a plate of sourdough pizza or buffalo wings to down.

Even better, they host beer pong tourneys, usually for £10 per head. Winners can score loads of prizes, like a Vegas trip, and are guaranteed to get a pitcher of booze.

It’s a win for fur parents too. BrewDog is dog-friendly; you can get your four-legged mate some ice cream while working on your beer pong skills.

Tip: Enjoy bottomless cauliflower or chicken wings by visiting on a Wednesday.

Rita’s Beer Hall and Ballroom

From ritasbars

Address: 43 Woodhouse Ln

Contact Details: +44 113 245 4928

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Tue – 12 pm to 2 am
  • Wed to Sat – 12 pm to 3 am
  • Sun – 12 pm to 2 am

Website

Rita’s love for cocktails extends to their beer pong tables. For £50, you can ditch the lager and ales for 10 glasses of the bar’s sought-after margaritas.

If that’s a bit much, a 4-pint jug of Camden Hells or 10 cans of White Claw are easier on the wallet, with £20 and £30 price tags, respectively. Just add 18 quid, and out comes the pepperoni honey pot slices.

Not to mention, they have a mid-week deal called Thursday Beer Pong Takeover. It often dishes out cheap pints and pizza, but the real clincher is crushing your mates at beer pong—sans the weekend rush.

Tip: Swing by on a Saturday for non-stop live tunes and dancing.

Roxy Ball Room

From roxyballroom

Address: 58 Boar Ln

Contact Details: +44 113 467 2200

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Thu – 3 pm to 12 am
  • Fri – 12 pm to 1 am
  • Sat – 12 pm to 2 am
  • Sun – 12 pm to 11 pm

Website

We’re off to Roxy Ball Room when only pints and bar games will do. Set to a backdrop of indie and rock bops, we never yawn while lobbing balls here.

Another big reason why the joint doesn’t get old for us is that they have 4-way tables. That means games are faster (and more chaotic) since 4 teams or players are duking it out.

We can’t skip the sips. The draught selection alone has 10+ options, such as Camden Hells and the stronger Poretti.

Tip: Students can enjoy discounts by bringing their student IDs (Sunday–Wed only).

Brooklyn

From brooklynleeds

Address: 50 Call Ln

Contact Details: +44 113 242 3966

Operating Hours:

  • Wed to Fri – 5 pm to 3 am
  • Sat to Sun – 3 am to 3 pm

Website

Well-liked for its mashup of R&B/hip-hop tunes and industrial aesthetic, the NY-inspired Brooklyn is a stress-melting joint for beer pong. If you think we’re capping, have a shot of The Chronic—its pear vodka and CBD extract will lift your mood.

Beer pong here won’t hurt your savings either. It’s just £10 per person, with 2 cans of either Kopperberg or Red Stripe to sweeten the deal.

To top it off, you won’t be crammed in. The happening bar might look laid-back, but it can host a party with 100 revellers.

Tip: Check if they’re offering deals like free entry for students.

Parkside Tavern

From parksidetnq

Address: St Johns House, Merrion St

Contact Details: +44 113 467 2005

Operating Hours:

  • Tue to Thu – 3 pm to 11 pm
  • Fri to Sat – 12 pm to 12 am
  • Sun – 12 pm to 11 pm

Website

We left the mad buzzing Parkside Tavern with smiles. Beyond the 18 lines of booze and rooftop garden, our bunch sank ping pong balls for yonks.

We loved that we just played the way we wanted to—no house rules to follow. Naturally, though, we set up a tourney to up the stakes and trash talk.

The scran was also bang-on, headlined by their strong and inventive pizza list. Turns out, a slice topped with onion bhaji, mozzarella, and mango chutney goes well with booze and trick shots.

Tip: Take the rail route. This pub is just a 10-minute walk from the Leeds Train Station. If you’re driving, Trafalgar Street Car Park is the nearest parking space.

The Bower’s Tap

From bowerstap

Address: 157 – 158 Lower Briggate

Contact Details: 0113 244 2275

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Thu – 12 pm to 11 pm
  • Fri – 12 pm to 1 am
  • Sat – 10 am to 2 am
  • Sun – 12 pm to 11 pm

Website

Global and international ales meet beer pong at The Bower’s Tap. As a good old-fashioned pub, you’ll take in a slow-paced and warm atmosphere, best experienced post-work or during weekends.

You won’t sink shots with randos or start clock-watching while awaiting your turn. Each group gets their own table, and while lining up, you can play darts, vibe to live music, or watch sports on two big screens.

Food-wise, it’s mostly pub grub. Think stone-baked pizza, BBQ sauce-coated wings, and classic burgers.

Cuckoo

– From cuckooleeds

Address: 37 Call Ln

Contact Details: 0113 242 3966

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Thu – 5 pm to 4 am
  • Fri to Sat – 12 pm to 4 am
  • Sun – 2 pm to 4 am

Website

We glanced at Cuckoo once and knew we were in for hours of high-energy beer pong. The bar is simply electric and ideal for folks like us who crave to play in rooms with neon artwork and pink glitter.

What’s more, swapping beer with prosecco is fair game, which was a delight to our mates who aren’t partial to beer. There’s also an option to set up beer pong tables in the less wild Scenic Garden, though we prefer the Neon Reef room with neon lights and oceanic paintings.

Better yet, they don’t hold the madness back on the offerings. Cuckoo combines stone-baked Marmite-topped pizza with eccentric libations, including classic martinis with marshmallows and espresso martinis flavoured with salted caramel.

Tip: Buy any drink to score free pizza before 9 pm!

Carousel Leeds

From carouselleeds

Address: 117 Albion St

Contact Details: 0113 831 2122

Operating Hours:

  • Mon to Tue – 12 pm to 1 am
  • Wed – 12 pm to 3 am
  • Thu to Fri – 12 pm to 1 am
  • Sat – 11 am to 1 am
  • Sun – 12 pm to 1 am

Website

As a haunt teetering between an arcade and a bar, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Carousel pulls in game and booze-hungry punters. Also, the tables are just £4 a pop—a massive steal considering that’s for a 60-minute sesh.

Variety makes them an even better pick. If you can’t stomach beer, you can play using a bottle of prosecco, 5 bottles of Hooch, or 4 bottles of Old Mout cider.

You can also neck as much as you like with their bottomless deals. That’s 90 minutes of endless libations—cocktails, fizz, beer, cider—it’s your shot.

Tip: If you’re rolling with the gang, opt for an event package. Most include perks like free game time!
