Sunuser Limited has been around since 1981, so I’m not surprised that they’re a highly recommended solar company. I personally went with them, and yeah, I can see why they’re highly sought after.
This company offers installations for solar PV systems or solar thermal systems, so you’ve got options. You can even have both if you have the money to do so!
They also have a solar maintenance service, which is comprehensive. I booked this once, and the team did many things: testing the systems, checking the temperature sensors, draining the solar primary circuit, and more in just under one hour.
It’s also a joy to work with the team here. When I booked them for the initial installation, the engineer assigned to us was friendly and accommodating, answering all my questions.
As for the team, they were courteous and respectful of the property. They worked efficiently as well, and the whole thing was up and running before we knew it.
However, since this company is an established solar installer, they can get busy fast. I’ve heard many stories of people not getting a free quote even when they already sent in all the requirements.

Their systems are incredibly durable. One client shared that they’ve had theirs for about nine years now, and it’s still chugging along. Moreover, if it ever has any issues, tech support is there for you.
I like how the panels look here as well. They can blend in on a dark roof.
Some clients complained about the salespeople, though. One of them interrupted the clients when they called in for a query. This isn’t much of a deal-breaker, but it’s annoying.

I like that, in addition to in-grid solar systems, which are the most common in the UK, they also offer an off-the-grid option. This is ideal for people who want true energy independence.
You can see variety in the brands they carry as well. You have the usual options like Duracell, SunSynk, and FogStar, but if you have money to spare, you can go for the premium brands like Tesla Powerwall and FoxESS.
Clients loved working with the team here. Many of them shared that the team clearly explained their options. Then, on the day of the installation, the crew came on time and did everything in a fast and tidy manner.
The rates here are expensive, though. Packages usually start at £9,000. It’s great that the pricing includes everything already, so there are no more surprises, but it’s still quite a hefty amount.

“From start to end, my experience with P4 has been superb. The whole process was excellent and the help from Fred and the team was great. The quote was very comprehensive which filled me with confidence and every question that I had was addressed swiftly and clearly. They were meticulous and very considered in the proposal. The installation went well and dealing with Jackson, Dec, Ben and the electricians was very easy – a nice bunch.
