RMUK Hair Beauty Day Spa is a family-run business that has been around since 1981. Due to their longevity, they’ve been recognised as a Guinot skincare specialist and a flagship Aveda Day Spa.
I’ve actually decided to go for their Essential Silver package, which covers everything from skin consultations to professional gel applications. I found the entire bundle to be an excellent value at £120!
Afterwards, I enjoyed hanging out at their lovely terrace and ordering from their private bar. Nothing like a cold drink after a day of pampering to really lift one’s mood, right?
I would have liked to say my visit was perfect. However, there was a slight delay in the start time because the aesthetician was running behind.

They’re the go-to experts for waxing in Yorkshire. In fact, they’ve even trained tons of other therapists in the area, so you know they’re legit.
Of course, I tried their ¾ leg wax, and honestly, I was blown away! It was easily the best wax I’ve had—very quick and painless.
Since I had time to spare, I also managed to snag a website promo for a spray tan and gel nails that only cost me £60. It was such a steal, especially considering we’re at the heart of the city.
One thing to keep in mind is that their online booking system can be a little bit glitchy. There were times I had to start all over again, which was a tad annoying.

AFSOO Beauty has been climbing the ranks for over 15 years, even snagging a shout-out from the Yorkshire Evening Post.
What they’re primarily known for is creating naturally lifted lashes that look flawless and never clumpy. Their careful technique of separating each lash is what gives you that perfect, fluttery finish.
Obviously, I went for their last lift and tint promo, and I was so happy with how my eyes popped without needing any mascara. The dyes they use are gentle on sensitive eyes, which I found to be a huge relief compared to other places.
I even joined their rewards program, where you can rack up points to use for future discounts—imagine earning a £10 voucher just for staying loyal.
The only thing that soured my mood was the staff, who I found to be a tad rude.

They started me off with a free, no-obligation consultation for hair and styling. Together, we were able to choose the perfect cut and colour for my face shape and skin colouring.
I have to say, the results were amazing. My stylist gave me a lovely trim with perfect layers and finished everything off with a bouncy blow-dry.
Not only was she talented, but she was also such a lovely person to chat with throughout my appointment.
Overall, I was so impressed with their service that I ended up buying an eGift card for a friend. I think this would help her out because they’re a bit pricey.
A cool bonus is their on-site cafe, which serves authentic Italian coffee and pastry—the ideal spot to hang out post-treatment.

Since they’re known for their facials, I went for their Restorative Ritual—a 90-minute bespoke experience. They use a mix of high-tech tools like the BT blade for deep product penetration with expert massage.
I also tried their BIAB Overlay Plain, a strong builder gel that helps your nails grow while staying natural and chic. It’s a great option if you’re just looking to keep your nails healthy and strong.
While my skin and nails were a total success, I noticed a few other customers online complaining about their massages—something to keep in mind.
