The Best Sandblasting Pros in Leeds Homeowners, Builders, & Fabricators Call On
Ask anybody hustling in manufacturing or automotive about their top 5 preparation or cleaning methods, and sandblasting will likely crack a spot, if not the first. I’ll wager my pint money on that.
Compared to old-school grinding, it’s one of the cheapest and most efficient ways to prep a surface or structure before treating or coating. Typically, no dangerous chemicals or exfoliants are involved either.
If you’re looking for a crew to do it properly, we’ve found the best ones in the city, especially if we’re talking about precision, speed, and rates. We smoothed out the 411 below.
How much does sandblasting cost in Leeds?
Sandblasting in Leeds typically costs £25 to £50 for an hour of their service or £200 to £400 for a day’s work.
The price also changes based on what’s being sandblasted: a house averages £900, a car chassis £200, and a motorcycle frame £100. Blasting away graffiti, meanwhile, ranges from £500 to £1,000.
1. Mobile Shotblasting Ltd

Address: Cross Ryecroft St, Ossett
Contact Details: 07817 244271
Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours
Mobile Shotblasting is a tidy shout when you need something done quickly. Fairly obvious, that one, given the crew has over 20 years in the bag.
The communication is prompt and accurate, too. Most times, you’ll get a reply within the day, accompanied by a quote based on photos alone (a true time-saver).
Oh, and they’re trained to blast plenty of surfaces, mainly those in dire need of cleaning or restoration. A workmate hired them once to sort out his stone and brick walls.
If you’re stressed over the process being too forceful, take a breather. Blasting pressure is adjusted here based on the surface’s state.
However, a drawback is their Osset location. When booking, you have to factor in the 45-minute drive to the Leeds CBD; closer picks are around.
Options are also limited to mechanical blasting. We found alternatives with extras like vapour or laser cleaning.
Professional
I highly recommend Jamie and his team. Professional job completed, and he was able to give me a direct quote by sending measurements and pictures of the wall. A top job. Thanks pal!

2. Newluk Cleaning Co.

Address: 10 Valley Terrace
Contact Details: 07802 809834
Operating Hours: Mon to Fri – 9 am to 5 pm
Blasting since 1978, Newluk Cleaning Co. has 40-plus years to flex. They cover brick, metal, stone, and woodwork.
Experience isn’t their sole asset. For one, the crew (led by Andrew) is suited for interior and exterior sandblasting and typically handles different structures, like trusses and chimney beams (these chimney sweeps can work on your smokestack too).
Even better, the results are bang-on, according to many clients. One, for instance, claimed that their 1930 property was refreshed after Andrew’s team worked on it.
It would be reyt handy, however, if weekend hours are available. Newluk’s demand is high, after all.
On the bright side, you don’t have to pay for quotes, and they’re fully insured, with paperwork ready to be sent if requested. Their approach is even full-service, meaning bits like protection and cleanup are covered.
Flexibility is another perk, as past sandblasting, this one has chemical-based methods approved by COSHH and high-pressure water jetting.
Really Competitive
Andrew did a fantastic job of sandblasting red paint from our brickwork. He was professional, tidy and gave a really competitive price. Couldn’t be happier with the work, it has exceeded all expectations.

Results Are Fantastic
Newluk Cleaning Co restored the brickwork at the front of our house to its former glory! Layers of unsightly emulsion paint had been left behind after we removed the porch from the front of our house prior to a refurb. Andrew gave us practical, no nonsense advice on the best way to remove the paint without further damaging the brickwork. The results are fantastic and completes the transformation we hoped to achieve, giving our 1930s semi some of its character back. It took hours of work, but Andrew more than delivered, exceeding our expectations. We would highly recommend Andrew and would definitely seek his services again for similar jobs.

3. Eco Blast and Paint

Address: Birkhill Cres, Birkenshaw
Contact Details: 07799 770722
Operating Hours: Mon to Sat – 8 am to 6 pm
The name is a giveaway; Eco Blast and Paint is pro-Earth. See, this 2008-established firm only uses eco-friendly abrasives, primarily recycled crushed glass.
Coverage-wise, they’re proper versatile. Brick, stone (arguably the stuff they clean/restore best), metal, wood, vehicles, and even industrial equipment are within their expertise.
What’s more, there’s a revitalised 1930s home in their portfolio. That grants them bonus marks.
Other cleaning methods beyond sandblasting aren’t in their bag, though. If you’re after the ‘full package,’ we included picks that use water jetting or chemicals.
They have no Sunday hours either, which tightens the wiggle room for scheduling a bit.
On a positive note, you’ll likely be quoted rates that make sense in Leeds. Ours were fair, and the clients we hit up told the same tale.
Eco Blast’s golden rep helps their case, too. The majority of their clients said it was referrals that swayed them to book.
Amazing
Adam has done a few jobs for us and he is amazing! He’s completely sandblasted a full house, detached garage and a very long front wall. The stonework has come up like new!!! Everybody has commented on how good the work looks. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with this company’s work. Thoroughly recommend!! 5 🌟

4. Able Blast Cleaning

Address: Unit 8, Bungalow Deighton Grange, Farm, Boroughbridge Road, Kirk Deighton, Wetherby
Contact Details: 07870 145167
Operating Hours: Mon to Fri – 4 am to 1 pm
Low-pressure sandblasting is Able Blast Cleaning’s main gig. That makes them a safe bet for removing rust on classic cars, body shells, aluminium panels, and other types of metalwork, including odd ones, like Terminator sculptures!
The team is also kitted with a rotisserie system, so components like suspension parts and subframes are fully accessible. Weight isn’t that big of a bother either, since they’ve handled machinery and gates reaching 3.5 tonnes.
That said, Able Blast isn’t mobile. Projects must be delivered to their facility, which is far from convenient, especially since they shut down on weekends.
In addition, the metal-only focus is a major drawback for anyone needing wood, stone, or brick cleaning or restoration.
We’ve got no gripes in terms of experience, though. Owner John Convery has been in the game for decades, beautifying projects like The Flying Scotsman, blasted way back in 2006.
The Results Speak for Themselves
Jon is amazing at what he does. He has blasted 2 shells for us. The results are simply great. He is very particular and meticulous at what he does. Won’t rush a job even when you tell him to. The results speak for themselves. I can’t recommend him enough. Very professional at what he does.

Satisfied with the Service
I recently had some work done on some of our gates that needed cleaning up. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service John provided. The results were outstanding, would highly recommend Able Blast for anyone needing any cleaning/sandblasting services. Thank you John, you will hear from me again.

5. MSS Workshop Ltd

Address: City Mills, Peel St, Morley
Contact Details: 0113 252 4868
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Thu – 8 am to 5 pm
- Fri – 8 am to 2 pm
The controlled facilities of MSS Workshop are primed for sandblasting projects of various sizes. Their blast room, for example, has the space and gear for cleaning motorcycles, car parts, stone, and garden furniture (these are also worth a shot).
Alloy wheel refurbishment is what they’re most known for, though. In fact, we heard about the firm from team members who had their loose rims stripped and recoated here (cars are also fair game).
The catch is, they’re lacking when it comes to mobile services. You really have to swing by the workshop, a snag that the first three entries don’t have.
Adding to that, weekends are a no-go, so careful scheduling and advanced booking are a must.
Well, at least the pricing is fair for Leeds, with some even calling it ‘very affordable.’
MSS also ticks off other solutions like powder coating, vapour blasting, pyrolysis, and laser cleaning, making it a full-service spot.
Didn’t Disappoint
Been looking around all over for my wheels to be refurbished and come across these guys, with great reviews from other people I decided to use them. And they didn’t disappoint me whatsoever, absolutely brilliant job and my wheels look amazing too. I am over the moon with the service I received in the shop—what lovely, kind and happy people to deal with, from me walking in. Hassle free, just dropped my car off Monday morning and then picked it up Tuesday afternoon. A 5 star service and a very affordable price. I would recommend these guys all day. Thank you for your service.

Very Competitive Price
Great guys. Had some 34 year old Cavalier parts I wanted blasting and powder coating. Never imagined they would come back looking so good and at a very competitive price. 5 star all the way, highly recommended and I will be back. Thank you.
