The Best All-You-Can-Eat Spots in Leeds Worth the Food Coma After!
Leeds is for big appetites. Just wander through the city, and you’ll bump into pop-ups, global kitchens, brunch getaways, and more foodie joints, all dishing out meals worth a forkful (or three).
Now imagine all that stacked on one table or plate. That’s basically what we see every payday, when we hit those all-you-can-eat restos for some good old feasting.
Of course, some places do the buffet game better than others. So to save you from scrolling through thesis-level paragraphs of TripAdvisor reviews, we singled out the names that hit the sweet spot between all-out indulgence and quality flavour.
Estabulo
From chloegreen_food
Address: The Light, 22 The Headrow
Contact Details: 0113 526 8856
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Sat – 12 pm to 10 pm
- Sun – 12 pm to 9 pm
Price Range: £30 to £43 per person
Estabulo’s rodizio concept tested our limits in devouring meat skewers. The setup was simple; their staff gave us a card which has a green and red side, the former signals ‘more meat,’ while the latter is essentially ‘all done.’
Menu-wise, it depends on when you’ll rock up, which in our case was dinner. That means we chowed on robust beef slathered in chilli, wings in peri-peri sauce, a few chicken hearts, and intense picanha (rump cap), which still gives me cravings.
Tip: There’s a smart casual dress code, which, if not followed, can lead to refusal of service. |
Blue Sakura
From bluesakuraleeds
Address: Merrion Centre, 2-3 Merrion Way
Contact Details: 0113 244 2989
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Sat – 12 pm to 3:30 pm, 4 pm to 11 pm
- Sun – 12 pm to 3:30 pm, 4 pm to 10 pm
Price Range: £30 to £48 per person
One platter of sushi never cuts it, thus our love for Blue Sakura’s tapas-style buffet. It’s stacked with traditional and inventive rolls, all delivered via a conveyor belt!
I usually head over in the evening, since it’s when they dish out specials like sweet-savoury eel BBQ and buttery tuna rose nigiris. If that’s not up your alley, lunchtime feasts here are more cost-efficient.
That said, they’re not robbing you, as the buffet goes beyond maki rolls and uramakis (inside-out rolls). My plate, in particular, always has miso, deep-fried buns, fiery Korean chicken, teppanyaki staples, and Japanese seafood noodles.
Tip: Dine longer (2 hours) by opting for a dinner visit. Max table time for lunch is just 1 hour and 30 minutes. |
Fazenda
From fazenda.group
Address: Waterman’s Place, 3 Wharf Approach
Contact Details: 0113 400 1183
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Thu – 12 pm to 3 pm, 4 pm to 9 pm
- Fri to Sat – 12 pm to 3 pm, 4 pm to 10 pm
- Sun – 12 pm to 3 pm, 4 pm to 9 pm
Price Range: £37 to £73 per person
It’s best to come with an empty stomach to Fazenda. This Brazilian steakhouse’s meat is infused with South America’s punchy flavours.
You’ll also be wolfing beefy bangers, like dry-aged tomahawks and deeply buttery picanha, the churrasco way. Hot off the grill, they’ll carve the meat on your table, then serve it up alongside fries, black bean stew, rice, and sides of the season.

TAO Leeds Hot Pot & Cantonese Restaurant
From taoleeds
Address: 43-47 Great George St
Contact Details: 0113 898 0088
Operating Hours: Daily – 12 pm to 10 pm
Price Range: £20 to £38 per person
TAO’s self-cooked hot pot experience is Cantonese at heart, just with seasonal produce to tick the freshness box. Unsurprisingly, you can savour that through the concentrated chicken broth, cooked low and slow for long hours.
No biggie if you’re not into chicken soup. Some options are seafood-, veggie-, and mushroom-based.
As for what to toss into the pot, that’s your shot. Those lamb rolls, sea bass fillet, oysters, and greens are part of their fixed menu deal, so go nuts.
Tip: Check out their loyalty programs and rewards. They also have some for birthday celebrants. |
Hama
From hamakoreanbuffet
Address: Merrion Centre, 30-32 Woodhouse Ln
Contact Details: 0113 245 5250
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Fri – 4 pm to 10:30 pm
- Sat – 12 pm to 10:30 pm
- Sun – 12 pm to 10 pm
Price Range: £22 to £33 per person
This wouldn’t be a proper all-you-can-eat list without Hama, a 100-person Korean BBQ joint where you grill your own meal.
By ‘meal,’ we’re talking about pork, greens, chicken, beef, and seafood BBQ, mostly char-grilled with garlic-soy, sesame oil, and spicy gochujang. They’re best taken with kimchi and a bottle (or two) of Soju, if you ask me.
Tip: Diners aged 3–10 years old pay £1 per age. |
Hunan Chinese Restaurant
From hunanchinesehunan
Address: 69, 69a Raglan Rd, Woodhouse
Contact Details: 0113 244 8217
Operating Hours: Daily – 12 pm to 10 pm
Price: £25 per person
Hunan proves you can still indulge in an authentic Chinese buffet in Leeds without dropping over £30.
What’s neat is that you’ll have loads of options to devour, all made to order. For instance, we ate sticky-sweet ribs, umami-rich chowmein, salt and pepper tofu, and hot pot.
Tip: Don’t like long wait times? Midweek visits will do the trick. |
Mommy Mookrata
From mommymookrata
Address: Merrion Centre, The Arena Quater, 9 Merrion Way
Contact Details: 0113 345 4510
Operating Hours: Daily – 12 pm to 10 pm
Price: £40 per person
For foodies who prefer all-you-can-eat offerings rolled out in sets, Mommy Mookrata is hard to pass up. Their Korean grill and hot pot work that way.
You get to choose between four themed courses: pork, vegan, seafood, and beef. The side dishes are unlimited, and the broth is up to you, with spicy, clean, and porky as the main flavour profiles.
Personally, I like the beef set best. It’s hard to resist the glazed, nutty, flame-kissed, and garlicky flavours of Mommy Mooktrata’s bulgogi, and I’m not the only one saying that.

Crown Chinese Hotpot
From foodieemilyy
Address: 1st Floor, 21 Blenheim Ter, Woodhouse
Contact Details: 0113 245 6526
Operating Hours: Daily – 12 pm to 9:30 pm
Price Range: £17 to £30 per person
Crown is Leeds’ first hot pot joint, and its bowls are straight out of Chongqing. In other words, prepare for tastes dominated by Sichuan peppers and garlic.
There’s no shortage of ingredients either. The broth selection alone boils with 9 picks, although tomato oxtail, pork bone, tom yum, and Sichuan spice are the undeniable winners.
In terms of toppings, it’s a toss-up between the separate meat (mostly beef) and seafood selection. The latter offers more variations, such as squid, crabs, mussels, fish fillet, and lobster (pre-order required), so it’s what I often go for.
Tip: They only take cash. Bring extra to avoid hassles. |
Bukhara
From bukharaleeds
Address: 70-72 Otley Rd, Headingley
Contact Details: 0113 531 3484
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Sat – 5 pm to 11 pm
- Sun – 4 pm to 9:30 pm
Price Range: £9 to £15 per person
Although Bukhara’s Indian buffet is a Sunday-only affair, it deserves some props for being flavour-packed and an effin’ steal!
It goes beyond the 2-to-3-dish setup, too. On our last visit, they plated cottage cheese-cooked peas and potatoes in a slightly hot sauce, herby king prawns, tangy-sweet chicken tikka, and curries, lots of curries.
Tip: You can bring your own bottle if you drop by between 4 pm and 10 am. |
Aagrah
From aagrahleeds
Address: Quarry House, St Peter’s Square
Contact Details: 0113 245 5667
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Sat – 5 pm to 11 pm
- Sun – 4 pm to 10:30 pm
Price Range: £15 to £22.50 per person
The award-winning Aagrah proves yet again that Indian food is best enjoyed unlimited...even if you can only pile kebab or fish masala on Sundays and Mondays.
Dishes rotate here, so you’re not stuck with last week’s menu. Still, there are mainstays, primarily soft lamb in hot curry sauce and yoghurt-marinated chicken, simmered in a clay pot with unapologetic herbs and spices.
Tip: Free car parking is available from 5 pm onwards. |
Sukhothai Restaurant
From sukhothai_
Address: 15 S Parade
Contact Details: 0113 242 2795
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Thu – 5 pm to 10 pm
- Fri – 5 pm to 11 pm
- Sat – 12 pm to 11 pm
- Sun – 5 pm to 9 pm
Price Range: £15 to £25 per person
Sukhothai’s Sunday all-you-can-eat spread (12:30 pm to 4:30 pm only) offers a true taste of Thailand. The cool part? Their buffet is built around their 200-item main menu’s top-sellers.
Satay gai is one of the crowd-favourites (and the main reason I go here). It’s basically a chicken skewer that’s on the herby and nutty side, with a char that doesn’t dry out the meat.
Creamy and gently spiced curries also make regular appearances, alongside Thai classics such as pad Thai (most prefer the chicken version), pad kra pao (spicy, aromatic ground meat), and prawn dumplings.
Tip: Ring ahead if you need assistance. There are steps, and the door is too heavy to be opened manually. |
Cuckoo
From cuckooleeds
Address: 37 Call Ln
Contact Details: 0113 242 3966
Operating Hours:
- Mon – 5 pm to 2 am
- Tue to Thu – 3 pm to 2 am
- Fri to Sat – 12 pm to 4 am
- Sun – 2 pm to 2 am
Price: £25 per person
Much like its range of adventurous cocktails and zany party rooms, Cuckoo’s buffet is one-of-a-kind. I mean, where else can you gobble bottomless pizza for an hour and a half?
The slices they’re slinging aren’t your everyday fare either. For instance, we celebrated a mate’s birthday last September by mowing through a pizza-hot-dog hybrid (sorry, Italians), jazzed with actual hot dogs, mustard, and chilli flakes.
Heck, if you’re proper Yorkshire, their gravy-based pie just might be your new obsession. From our experience, it even goes down well with a popcorn-flavoured martini.
Tip: Aside from the buffet option, you can enjoy a free 6” pizza by buying drinks at the main bar starting at 9 pm. |
