Sip booze on a budget at the best happy hour spots in Leeds!
We’re no strangers to revelry. Most weekends, you’ll catch us knocking back Margarita after Margarita after Margarita during happy hour.
What’s the point of that confession, you may ask? So you know we ‘might’ be prone to questionable life choices, but splashing out on a full-priced Pina Colada isn’t one of them.
That’s why we swear by 2-for-1 tipples, half-priced beer, and any other deal to get a quality glass without rinsing our bank accounts. If you’re on the same wavelength, the list below is your ticket for a night (or afternoon) of cheap but delicious booze.
Tiki Hideaway
– From tikihideaway
Address: Call Lane Social, 38 Call Ln
Contact Details: 0113 242 3966
Operating Hours:
- Mon to Thu – 9 am to 4 pm
- Fri – 7 pm to 4 am
- Sat – 5 pm to 4 am
- Sun – 9 pm to 4 am
Happy Hour Period:
- Sat to Fri – 5 pm to 9 pm
- Sun to Thu – 5 pm to 11 pm
Tiki Hideaway whisked our crew to a Polynesian island, just with more 2 for £15 cocktails and fewer sunburns.
The Blackstrap Daiquiri was sipped on the most. It had darker caramel and clove notes, laced with molasses and fiery ginger cordial.
My mates who couldn’t handle the heat went with Pineapple Booty. Had a sip myself, and it was dessert-like with its vanilla liquor and caramelised pineapple infusions.
Tips:
- If you can’t have enough, join their masterclass.
- Call to confirm the happy hour period, as it can change anytime. This tip applies to all entries.
Manahatta
– From sheffield_cocktail_festival
Address: 29 E Parade
Contact Details: 0113 243 5118
Operating Hours:
- Wed – 4 pm to 11 pm
- Thu – 12 pm to 12 am
- Fri to Sat – 12 pm to 2 am
- Sun – 12 pm to 11 pm
Happy Hour Period: Sun to Fri – All day
Manahatta nailed the Big Apple’s glam down pat. The same bold and colourful character flows in their 2-4-1 cocktails, some fruit-loaded, some punchy.
Headlining the menu is Booty Call, part of their iconic Six in the City selection. Ripe raspberries and blackberries dominate this one, with hints of white peach and pineapple.
For something with a bit more backbone (a smoky one), down their tequila-laced Spicy Margs. Ancho Reyes chilli liqueur loads this with heat, though pineapple pieces tone it down a bit.
Tip: This joint is a party hub, so be on the lookout for its next event.
Lost & Found Club
– From thelostandfoundleedsclub

Happy Hour Period: Every day – 5 pm to 7 pm
Lost & Found Club’s posh chandeliers and antiques would probably dazzle you. But those 2-for-£12 libations? Now, those will make you a patron.
Just look at us. Our weekends revolve around their Picante Margarita, popping with a crisp Patrón Silver tequila base and slow-burning chilli.
For nights when we crave a glass that matches the club’s ‘grand yesteryear’ look, we go for a fruit-forward French Martini. Classic.
Tip: Look for their other offers beyond happy hour promotions.

Smack dab in the pulsing Greek St, Neighbourhood is a post-work bar your boss will ditch the office early for. Live entertainment, hip art, cheap booze—what more could a weary fellow ask?
Sure, discounts don’t bring down every tipple, but with £5 on selected pints and 2-4-1 deals on certain cocktails, we’re not moaning. It’s hard to mither when you’re boozed up and busting disco spins like it’s ‘79.
Tip: Foodies might also love their 50% discount off food every Thursday.

Belt-loosening feasts and bargain sips make Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen a hit among punters. Can’t say we’re surprised, as every hour is happy hour here.
Usually, you’ll get 2 frozen cocktails for a mere £12.95, with options ever-changing. Most have them with fare from Dough Boys or Patty’s Burger, but if you ask us, that’s rookie behaviour. Get both.
Tip: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays will get you half-priced pizza slices, usually from 12 pm to 5 pm or 7 pm.

If you swing by late at MOJO, you’ll hear six decades of rock unleashed in a NY-style bar, shaken and stirred with 2-for-£14 cocktails or £4.50 pints of Heineken.
Even their Beefeater gin gets a price drop, £12 for 2 large Beefeaters to be exact. Sound deal for fans of juniper-heavy and citrusy booze.
Tip: Not a fan of rock? Pop by early for softer tunes.

Leeds’ Exchange Quarter got trendier when Revolution opened shop. You just can’t beat the ecstasy of knocking back handcrafted cocktails in a continental bar, with an airy terrace to boot.
Plus, time has no say here, as deals don’t run out. Last time, we went full tilt on their tart, tequila-based P!nk Paloma, which went 2-4-1.
If you swear by beer, they pour £3.50 pints without end, too.
Tip: Students get lots of discounts.

Sexy and alive is how we’d describe Smokestack. It’s the city’s take on New Orleans, so you know the sound of blues, funk, and soul pulses on all of its two floors.
While you boogie the night away, 2-for-£12 cocktails will make the escape go smoother. The cut-price sips are all classics and best-sellers—think Daiquiris, Old-Fashioned, and Espresso Martinis.
Tip: You don’t have to drink with randos if you hire the bar for a private function.

When life gives us lemons, we respond by necking The Botanist’s 2-for-£15 cocktails, often accompanied by live bops and their famous hanging kebabs.
The happy hour menu here is also stacked, with about 20+ cocktails. Staples like Pornstar Martinis and Spicy Margaritas are what we’re all usually about.
That said, the gastropub’s signatures have been growing on us lately. Case in point: Peppered Peach Mojito, a dark rum drink swinging between flaming and sweet.
Tip: Get a feel for the place without leaving your couch via an online tour.

Drink-wise, it’s frothies that get massive discounts, with £5 pints come happy hour.
Cocktails get price cuts too, and on our recent trip, classics like French Martinis and Negronis came with a 2-for-£15 deal.
Tip: Spice up your sesh with a quiz night visit.

Happy Hour Period: Tue to Sat – All day
Out of sight on Wellington St and hidden below the West Point apartment, Leeds Postal Service is worth tracking down. For one, the bar breathes posh vibes courtesy of its industrial aesthetics.
But, of course, booze nabs the spotlight. How can it not? Try finding a madman who’ll say no to a £2.80 Red Stripe, £3.75 house wine, and 2-for-£10 cocktails.
Tip: The happy hour menu switches up. See their Insta for the deets.

Sophisticated, electric, and Victorian-looking, The Brotherhood of Pursuits and Pastimes had us from the first pint and goal.
The deals made our sports bar jaunt merrier. House wines were poured for just £5 a glass, while a prosecco bottle only cost us £15.
Two-for-£13 cocktails overflowed, too, and they were all timeless bevs—Margarita, Cosmopolitan, Dark & Stormy—you get it.
Tip: They offer cheap food as well. You’ll see the deals on their website’s menu page.

- Fri to Sat – 12 pm to 4 am

The mate who told us parties don’t end at Cuckoo wasn’t spinning yarns. If there’s ever a haunt proving that beer-filled giraffes, neon graffiti, and pink glitter rooms lead to mint night outs, it’s this one.
As for its happy hour promotions, punters mostly get £15.95 prosecco bottles. Free pizza slices are part of the deal too, as long as you score sips before 9 pm.
P.S. Give their mad Yorkshire pizza a shot.
Tip: You can roll in a fancy dress, but make sure to message them beforehand.
